An ordinary place, at an unfamiliar hour.
I wanted the image to sit somewhere between a remembered place and an imagined one. The contrast between warm concrete and cool water carries the feeling.
The study uses an empty pool as a way to work with architecture, reflection, and a limited palette. The diving platform gives the composition a vertical counterpoint to the long horizontal wall.
